Anybody know how to remove the left over residue from the emblem? Some comes off with my finger nails. Other than washing it good, I'm pretty clueless to any body work

3M adhesive remover spray. You can get it at most auto parts stores:

Don't use WD40 as it's silicone based and you'll have a heck of a time waxing that area if you do.

How hard is that on paint? I thought about adhesive remover but thought it would be harsh. How would you apply it, on a rag or spray directly?

Get an eraser wheel from the parts store. Works awesome.

The adhesive spray:

Spray it directly on, let it sit for 5~10 minutes, wipe off with light~medium light pressure. Keep repeating until adhesive is gone - for stubborn spots, spray it onto the rag and let the rag sit on the spot with some pressure (don't move it, just press and hold) for a minute or so.

As for the eraser wheel, not worth the $45~60 for a one time use, when a can of 3M remover is $7, but they do work great...

Then I'd recommend doing a full wash and wax. The areas where you used the spray need to be fully cleaned and re-waxed/sealed.
