Hello

I just bought myself a 1997 Ram, and I've got to say that those aftermarket headlights that's on the car now are pretty much useless.

So I've been reading and searching the shops for some good replacements. And I've found a few. But I also got confused because the different headlights and what light fits what car etc.

So my question is to you guys, can you look at the OEM headlights I'm posting and tell me what kind of projector headlights I can use?

The 2nd and 3rd links you posted are good to use they use the normal wiring harness on the truck. The first one has an adapter for the sport head lights and wiring which according to your picture you do not have.

Oh sweet peppy I didn't know you were getting into that. Maybe if I smack another deer(decent probability) I'll get ahold of you on that

Thank you all for the response so far :)
One of the problems with the Ebays are the shipping costs to Norway are higher then the headlights themself :p

But, but peppy, I thought the higher the number the brighter the headlight?

Alas sadly this is not true ;)

For the OP: K or Kelvin is a measure of light TEMPERATURE with 3000k being hot and yellow and those 10,000k being cold and blue. Temperature is related to output in a way that you would not expect. Brightest light is right in between 4300k to 5500k. As the temperature goes down (6000, 8000, 10000) light output decreases slowly at first then very very rapidly. Same goes for the other direction as well: hotter than 4300k (3000k, 1500k) output begins to diminish more and 0k is a deep red color. Hotter temps tend to cut through rain and snow and fog better too with 3000k cutting through the best. 4300k cuts through pretty well too but puts out more light so is a better option for a regular driver.

And that's before you talk about wattage  :roflsquared: :pepper:

Technically, light output doesn't change.......VISIBLE light output changes as you're getting closer to the UV spectrum.

Well depends what all you want.

Housings: $80-135
Projectors: $40 for Nilights or $135 for Morimoto
Accessories (halos, demon eyes, etc)
Harness: $35
Labor: $50-10, dependent on what all you want done.

Personally i like simple but effective.
