Some clown put 20s on my truck before I bought it and I hate em!! They might be better if the truck was lifted and had larger tires with more side wall. When I get new tires, I'll be going back to 17s.

Sitting in a stock 2001 frame, finally did what I wanted to the truck and they are 275x60x20 with absolutely no rub but I do know the sports and Laramies do sit higher than the base considering I also have a base 1994 ram 1500 that I'm messing with. Its about 2.5 inches lower on the base model. I'm soon doing stock 4th gen wheels and tires being the same 275x60x20 tires I have. Assuming minimum needs a level.

I swapped out the stock 20's for some aftermarket 18's so I could go with a taller, and wider, set of 35x12.50's and get more sidewall.

Besides, the stock 20" blacked out alloys were fugly, IMHO.

No they don't. 4x4s sit about 2" higher than 2x4 but otherwise only offroad editions sit higher. Anything else is simply spring wear
