You do have a back up plan.......don't you? It would be kinda sad to see a ram die a slow death, without a another truck on the way. Just saying.

yes, jacking up the cab and box and when I get time, welding 1/4 or 1/2" thick plate to the bent area. I am going to put a custom pipe bumper/pre runner inplace of the front bumper.

No, and no, I found a hidden tree stump on the way to the deer camp. one that had been burried under the trail and years of driving on it wore the dirt down. It's just a slight buldge in the "S" bend under the cab, sticks out maybe 1/4" inch. Talked with the auto teacher at my school the other day at the gas station, turns out we have a frame jig so I jacked up the body for now and we are going to straighten it when school starts back up.

You can't hardly tell it's bent since I jacked the body up. One side you can't tell at all (wasn't as bad) the other side (the one pictured) needs to come up another 1/8" to be perfect but the bolts wern't long enough for me to feel safe about leaving them.

Note that the front of the box was bent by the p/o some how, I have a feeling it had something to do with a few to many beers and loading a 4-wheeler...
