Default JBA Exhaust and 180 t stat
New user here, Just bought my 2001 ram 1500 5 speed with the 318. It has a CAI already, But I want to replace my t-stat with one that's 180F. Anyone know what a part number is? napa autozone advanced auto etc....

Next is the exhaust, I was looking at the JBA evol Exhaust, Wondering if anyone has had this or has any input. I don't want to do true duals.

Thanks!

You really can't do "true" duals with our trucks because of the gas tank location. Part number for the 180 is 15358 for the duralast at autozone

Now Im not to familiar with the year you have. But if the gas tank is the issue. You can add a heat shield to it. But if the gas tank is just in the way, idk.... So-Cal Speed shop installed a custom heat shield on a Ram some years back.

I know this isnt the same year. In fact its an '03 that So-Cal Speed Shop did some while back. It had a 528 carbureted Mopar crate Elephant thrown in and ran true duals. The black pipes existied on both sides of the truck, one right under the gas tank.

Dont really want to do duals in general, I think everyone has them, JBA Headers 40-1508 - JBA Headers Evol Exhaust Systems - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Thats the exhaust Im thinking about getting, Anyone familiar with them?

Thanks for the part number Badger.
