I have two issues with my new ram. One is that the dome lamp does not come on. The map lights do, but not the dome lamp. Also, the cargo lights don't work either. I check the plug on the dome lamp with the headlight switch rolled up, and it has no voltage. Any idea?

My second problem is my brake lights. I noticed that sometimes my brake lights take a second to turn off, and sometimes they don't. They WILL if I lift the pedal. Is the switch worn out? Or is it more of a brake system issue, as in the pedal isn't rising enough.

ANY help is appreciated!

Alright I got a suggestion on another forum to replace the switch for the brake lights.

THAT issue is fixed. Now it's just the dome/cargo lights. Any idea?

If that was the case, wouldnt the map lights not work either? I tried swapping the switch with another, and it made zero difference.

Hmm...I just re-read your post again. I'd be wondering if there is a plug in the headliner going to the dome plug that is loose/disconnected.

Possibly. Are the dome and cargo lights connected?
