Does a 2500 steering gearbox bolt up to a 1500?

im in need of seals on my steering gearbox , it's leaking like a siff. Wondering if I'm better off upgrading to a 2500 gearbox or what my best options are in your opinion

Im looking into that as well.. from what ive read but cant quote yes they bolt to the frame.. and have a better ratio for larger than stock tires.. but i cant say yet for the rest.. keep posted if you find anything else out
