Is the HF polisher any good for those who have it? I'm new to polishing and would like to learn. Thanks in advance.

Gary Dean uses a HF da polisher. HF is in most cities so you do not have to order. The HF polisher is a good beginners tool. A polisher about the same size is the PC7424XP of which I have. Go buy one and order some quality pads from Autopia and Autogeek. Both are having St. Patrick day salesIs the HF polisher any good for those who have it? I'm new to polishing and would like to learn. I have this one from harbor freight and it's really good. Just be careful as it spins really fast and you can burn the paint..

if it is dual action how can it hurt a paint job, mine spins up to 6000 rpm and zero issues, oh not HF
Which compounds do they sell at auto parts stores because that's probably what I'll get. Just for starters

Do you really need a compound? Usually you can get a lot done with a good quality polish. Any cutting compound will produce more swirls which are harder to remove. I use Chemical guys products cause they're affordable and produce great results while also being pretty forgiving.
I would try Meguiars Ultimate Compound first. Then move on to a more aggressive cut if the above does not work as you likeOkay so let's say I just want to get a good shine on my truck and maybe help some oxidation on family members vehicles, should I just use the cutting polish and the final polish
