Does anyone know why Dash mounted Aux switches are not an option for the PW? If any 2500, I think The PW would make good use of the switches for Off road lamps, LEDs, etc. Built a tradesman PW on the ram site and there is not an option for Aux switches. Wonder why? I wonder if the factory switch panel could be added?

Thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the Tradesman PW dash, but if it has the switch panel, and something is already occupying a space in the bottom row, that would probably explain why Aux switches aren't an option. My PW is a Laramie, so my switch panel is pretty full.

Thanks Gentlemen. I appreciate the response. I will have to head out and take a look at the PW Tradesman dash to see how it is configured. I don't believe there is anything in the lower section of that part of the dash, but I am not sure. May require a new face for that section to accommodate the switches.

it would be difficult to accomplish, you will not have the wiring in the hash for the switches

Huh....you Sure about that. I would think the harness would already be there on every model and the pigtails/connectors/switch plate would be needed. I may be wrong though. I would hate to R&I the dash just to install another harness through the firewall.
I am debating between a slt/bighorn and a PW. Aux switches are on my short list of options. I can't believe the PW doesn't have the option from the factory. Weird.

If your truck did not come with the AUX switches from the factory, then it in fact will be quite a task to install them. The harness is NOT already installed in every truck. I've researched this to death - if you're wanting to put about 1,000$ into the project then maybe you can accomplish it - but a simple 10$ switch worked out just fine for me.
