Question on the PW

Been tossing around the idea of buying another truck recently and have looked at a few trucks. Was interested in the PW .. but my question is .. Do they make them with the shifter in the center like the 4th gens 1500's or are they just standard shifters ?

No 4th Gen 2500/3500 has a console shifter.

The console shifter is only available in a 1500.

surprised you are looking at a 4th gen!

Yeah... I was bumed when I found that the 2500's don't get offered with the center consol shifter.. I really like the look of it.

you can still get the bucket seats in the 2500 with a center console, but there's a big hole where the shifter would be in the 1500.

love my console.. i always hated how i never had space to put stuff in my 08' and 04' ram... but this 4th gen has plenty of space to put stuff

Just a thought, I have no idea if I can be done but people have been converting column shift 4th gens into console shift trucks. wondering if the same parts (shifter linkages and whatever else is needed) would work in a 2500.

Dunno ..

I just like the stance of a PW and the center shifter .. guess ya cant have your cake and eat it to .. or how ever that saying goes

with just a 2" level upfront and my bigger tires I actually sit higher than the stock PW. Me and aother member with a PW did all the measurements... But that doesn't help the fact that you are interested in PW and not an outdoorsman lol

No I am interested ,.. I want something that is as follows ...

Ride is smooth and great
Has leather
Has Nav ect ..
Has center shifter
Has the big cab
Has the sunroof
Has a tall OEM stance
Has the cool hood with the 2 vents .

Guess I cant have it all and it is looking like a sport sadly

oh......let me burst that bubble again. LOL

hood, 1500s only. But, I know someone that can get a badass hood for these trucks! Functional too.
