i like that one on the above picture, just a normal steel one, nothin fancy.... I found a place local sellin them for $100 , then just gotta get it painted

I looks to be a Sir Micheal's pan. It allows you to keep the spare under the truck and use the jack crank handle to raise and lower it. The OEM cross bar that supports /protects the rearend of the truck needs to be removed. I recommend a hidden hitch be installed both just in case you want to tow or if you need to be yanked out of a hole there is a solid point to attach a strap. It also ties the frame rails together and protects a little from damage if rearended. Don't do your exhaust until the rear and drop is done or you will need to redo it to make everything fit. I removed my spare to run my exhaust, besides it being a lower truck how are you suppose to get under it to get the spare out with a flat on the side of the road. And of course the bed has to be lifted to remove the OEM cross member, which is easy enough to do with a floor jack and a 4x4. I have pictures of all this if anyone wants me to post them. Good luck..

mine isnt sir micheal, i heard to many horror stories. i got mine off of ebay for 129.00 shipped and its the 3rd one i have bought and installed from there. they fit perfect, matter of fact it was a little tight on the one in the picture and i had to get my little friend persuasion, inset rubber mallet, to make it fit. i missed out on a heel of a deal because i for got to email david bmrbrnsnrbrd when he sold his 04 he had everything for sale and i spaced on it so he sold it, opps my bad.

trup if you can save the dough and get it welded in. they will have to paint and blend all over the bed. i have been quoted 600.00+ multiple times and welded in all the other pans i have installed. if you have a buddy with skills it comes in handy. my last 2 were welded in by a friend that moved away. so all i had to do is pay for paint. on the 2nd gen they only painted from the roll pan down and blended it into the body line. way cheaper and no one could notice, i was told that isnt possible onthe 3rd gens so it cost a lot more. i couldnt talk the wife into letting me weld this one in. i did my 08 got it all painted and ditched it for the QC shortly after.

Yeah I have several friends in my shop that can weld, so that shouldn't be a problem. But I definately wanna get it molded, as apposed to some horrible screw installs Ive seen lol.
