I had the USB stick in all week, nothing doing. I just ordered a radio from a 2016. Scored for only $160. I'm done screwing around with it.

I download the newest version at driveuconnect.com with the right VIN Number

Uconnect_VP4,18.45.01-My13-17

I put it on a USB with FAT32 - in the Challenger the screen shows me this messange:

Loader.lua: Model year mismatch. This software Update ist incompatible with this radio. Update cannot be perform..

I dont know why....can anybody help me ?

You need to pull out your radio and identity what model/country code label it is as well...
VP4 is with nav, Vp3 is without nav...
-NA is USA
-CA is Canada
-MX is Mexico
-ROW is Rest of World.
(May be others)

USA and Canada SW likely won't work on your EU radio and even the USA radios must be updated to v17.x.x before they will accept the v18.x. updates.

You need to find someone that has sw for your exact year/"model" (-ROW ) /PN radio and I doubt anyone here at Ramforum does. Reach out to Customtronix, they may be able to help. There's also this odd bit of info someone else posted that I linked in the first post...

I left the device original. It is not converted to the EU.

I look für 17.11 and 17.43 but the Files are destroyed after unpacking

You have this files and can upload it ?

FYI, the 17.xx.xx files will be different from the earlier files. Instead of 1 or 2 files, there will be several. Same with the 18.xx.xx update.

Well, then you will need to go to a challenger forum and ask if anyone has the v17.x software update for a 2016 Challenger RA4/VP4-NA radio PN: 68258397AF

* The Ram radio's here use different hardware and sw updates than the Challenger's. I don't have the files you need, and it's not likely anyone on this forum does.

I download the files from the links on page 1 - and 17.11 and 17.43 are damaged files - winrar shows me this messange

Why does SB 0801619 REV. D state that the flash drive needs to be at least 16 GB when the files are only 1.06GB when downloaded?

I believe it expands on the drive during install and also creates a recovery on the drive of your current firmware prior to flashing.

Does anybody know how to activate or use the camera function? Reverse and cargo camera work but it would be nice to have a 3rd option for a front camera. Thank you

Here is an update for everyone. After installing the 22.6 software update on my UAQ tonight I am still experiencing the excessive volume when the Voice Recognition or Phone button on the steering wheel are pressed and when I receive a "new text message from" alert. I have tried several times to lower the volume when pressing either of those buttons or when a text massage comes through via Bluetooth but, the volume is still reverting back to the slightly obnoxious level 14. I will however say that the alert for a text massage sounds less clear now. It just sounds gritty is the best way I can explain it. I'm hoping that after the truck has had a chance to sleep for several hours the issues are resolved. I have not had a chance yet to see if the speakers still sound distorted at times as it's only occasional but didn't happen until I installed the UAQ. I purchased the UAQ brand new last year and previously had a RA4. My truck came factory with the RA2 and my previous software that came loaded on the radio was 22.5

I did have one UAS with a factory flash of 22.6 that did the same thing. I wonder if it's a calibration thing? If you can get it to play a long notification try turning it all the way up and all the way down while the notification plays. Having CarPlay or Android Auto read the weather report may be a long enough notification.

I hope it's not stuck like this lol. I'm about to pull the inline radio fuse in an hour or so then I will update everyone. I did try the volume all the way up and down during one notification like you suggested with no luck yet.

Behind the passenger side battery right above and to the left of the coolant reservoir is an inline fuse. Do you guys think this is my radio fuse? Also I'm assuming I can just pull the fuse, wait for two minutes and not have to unhook the batteries?

I pulled the inline fuse, waited two minutes then put it back in and did a startup then shut it back off let it sleep and turned it back on. I know I got the correct fuse due to the Uconnect theme on the radio and the temporary loss of backup camera, cargo camera, and sxm softkey but, I have all of those back now. The notification & VR/phone volume is still reverting back to level 15 after lowering it[emoji2369]

Weird how some people don't have the issue with 22.6 and some do... Makes it hard to share the trees and get uConnect to put out another update... Took them almost 2yrs of regular complaints (from almost everyone) after the 21.9 update that started this mess

Are the "issue" ones swapped into trucks that came with RA originally?

I know there is an eq curve setting on the ra units... Is it possible when swapping the uax units, they are set to the wrong curve for the truck they are in now?
