Are the "issue" ones swapped into trucks that came with RA originally?

I know there is an eq curve setting on the ra units... Is it possible when swapping the uax units, they are set to the wrong curve for the truck they are in now?

Worth a shot to check/try a different one with AlfaOBD ...
(If you're truck originally had 6 speaker vs Alpine, start with one of those & vice versa)

Weird how some people don't have the issue with 22.6 and some do... Makes it hard to share the trees and get uConnect to put out another update... Took them almost 2yrs of regular complaints (from almost everyone) after the 21.9 update that started this mess

I know that's what I'm afraid of is there not being another update to correct it. I've dealt with this for over a year now. I know it's first world problems but still a bit frustrating. I was hoping pulling the inline fuse and the radio resetting would resolve it. I have now confirmed 24 hours and I'm not noticing any differences.

My truck came factory with the RA2 I then swapped that out for a RA4 and then I ended with a 18' Ram UAQ. I will definitely look into the eq curve settings tomorrow night after work thanks for the suggestion man!

Even if your setting is correct right now I would try to "change it" to the correct setting again just in case. Let us know how it goes!

Gentleman I apologize for the late notice but I just wanted to let you guys know I appreciate all of your help and support! Today has just been very busy with work. I'm going to have to upload my bcm log and connect to Alpha then check the settings and save my log HOPEFULLY tomorrow if not definitely sometime this weekend!

I might and I say that lightly have a several month old BCM log somewhere on my phone that way I have one uploaded before I get the current log! I'm going to look right now but either way I'm going to get one up to date uploaded in the next couple days. I just have to see if I can remember how to upload and save my log or even share my old log.

I did, I set it to 'Crew Cab premium' etc. Then I set it back to Crew Cab base 6 speaker like it was set originally.

Maybe try connecting directly to the radio via AlfaOBD? There are settings in there too, but I didn't try it on the radio with the weird levels because I just sent it back.

There are certain options you will only see while actually connected to the radio.

I would also suggest trying the Quad Cab 6 Speaker DS setting and trying that for a day.
(Don't use the 'premium' Alpine speaker setups with your base speaker system. It actually disables the line level speaker outputs from the radio since it's expecting the Alpine Amp over the Bus)

** Remember, with these Panasonic radios, you need to pull the fuse after a change, let the radio do it's reset/setup again before you change anything again. **

Even though I only did the Premium Alpine for about 10 minutes I hope that didn't jack up the line level speaker outputs your talking about. I will try the quad cab 6 speaker base per your recommendation and pull the inline fuse.

Did anyone ever get the firmware file v17.43.01 VP3 for a 2014 or even 17.11.07? I'm trying to upgrade to the newest firmware, but need to upgrade to one of them first. I have been looking all over the forms an can't find it anywhere.
