Can the intake cover be removed just by removing the couple bolts right on top of it? I was going to clean the PCV valve on my lunch break but when I saw it was bolted on figured I'd leave it until I got home in case it was more in depth than that.

Are we talking about the intake box? The cover of the intake box? Not quite following. The box itself comes off in a few steps. Remove negative from your battery if you're a clutz hah. Take off crank vent, remove air flow sensor. Be gentle with that, remove from manifold, and there's just a couple bolts or screws holding it down
