Ok, I have not signed up for my Uconnect, nor did the salesman tell me much about it. Having the 8.4 screen, is it NAV capable? Pandora, who all has it?. I don't care to pair up my phone, voice text, etc...more want NAV and Pandora, etc.
Is it worth it, and what's the cost monthly? Dealer have to hook up NAV?

It depends on if you have the 8.4a or 8.4an. An is the nav version but for around $600 the 8.4a can have it added. If you have the nav version you shouldn't have to activate anything. The uconnect apps I believe are free for a year than it's $10-15 a month.

depends on what uconnect apps you want. like stated above pandora, iheart radio, a few others are free. they actually run off your phone.

im currently looking at a new ram. my '13 has the 8.4an (built in nav) but i never use it so in the new ram im looking at if it doesnt have nav i dont care. nav maps built into cars get so outdated and cost a fortune to update to me its not worth it.

I have the 8.4/RA3, not the RA4.
So the Pandora just bluetooth to the radio. Gocha. Ok, well I emailed UConnect to see if my VIN has the ability to get NAV...but dang, $600...
But free remote starts, etc for a year....sounds like I need to "get started" :D

If nav is something you want after a year you should be able to find good used RA4 units out of 2015-16 trucks for $300-500 than sell yours. I've sold 2 2013 RA3 radio's on eBay for $350.

You're better off selling you stock radio and getting a 2015 RA4. 5 minute swap and you'll have NAV and HD radio. They can be had for $450 shipped.

Nice, so the RA4 is the only NAV one? Good to know, thank you.
