Some impressive tows, how about payload hauling in the bed? For me, the two heaviest I have done two loads of flooring, one was about 1600lbs and another about 2600lbs both 225 miles up through the mountains including some decent grades. Squat in the back wasn't bad at all considering and I was able to maintain 70+mph with no strain whatsoever.
Got 13.5mpg on the lighter run and about 12.X on the second, can't remember the exact fuel economy. I was impressed with the stability with load in the rear.
My old F250 felt sketchy with a one ton load of pellets in it, this was night and day.
Others have similar experience?
45 cases of pergo flooring at 24#s per case would be 1,080, plus 10,000 #s of building material on a 6,000# trailer.
no squat, and certainly wasn't slowed down. Braking was hindered a touch of course...
