Finally.........2016 Ram 1500 Sport Crew

Well boys, I got my truck back from the dealer.

They replaced the hood decal with the right one, replaced the hood scoop, antenna & added the missing weatherstripping. They added some Velcro to the tailgate but I'm going to hit the local Home Depot over the weekend & buy some more Velcro adhesive strips & do it properly.

I don't think they're going get me the ambient lighting kit, so they're going to have to cut me a cheque for the cost of it plus the install because I already paid for it.

All done for now I think....

Got my Westin HDX Drop Steps installed yesterday. I'm very happy with the look of them.

The install shop damaged the driver's side one during the install. I didn't notice it until I got home. They're ordering me a new driver's side step so no harm no foul.

I had the truck detailed to address some paint flaws, but mostly stuff that happened after the truck arrived at the dealers & got farmed out for the accessories.

Also got the front bumper done with the Xpel PPF......very happy with the results of that as well.

The damage looks like the rear bolt on the step was driven in too tight & almost punched through the outer finished side of the step.

The thread of the bolt is still there, but the head is gone....maybe it sheered off...not sure.

Truck looks really good. Can you do me a favor and take a picture of the "puck" on the roof. I have the fin and was wondering about replacing it with the puck but I haven't ever seen one. Thanks in advance

yeah someone way over tightned that bolt and suprised they torque striped it. Looking good.

Loving it so far & I got it on sale for a few hundred dollars off at a Canadian online retailer. Not sure if I would have paid full price for it when the hard cover tri-fold tonneau covers fit the bill quite well.

Black what? Emblems?

I'm sticking with a bit of chrome with the emblems....I'm maybe old school, but I like the mix of the chrome with the black.

I know the Rockstars 2's aren't everyone's cup of tea & in the States they're pretty played out.

They've been my favourite wheel since they came out & in Canada, they're not near as common.

Oh yeah lol. Lot of people get the removable spokes painted. Could look cool in white.

To each his own, but I am not a fan of that look.
