So here's the latest. I've been humming & hawing about getting the Bilstein 5100's to get rid of the remaining factory rake on my truck.

I finally decided to take the plunge and opted for the 1.4" setting because I was worried about being nose high.

Everything worked out. I am completely level now (with full tank of gas) & can still get into my garage with room to spare.

Ride is stiffer now than with the factory front shocks, but I don't get that uneven rattling of the front suspension when going over bigger bumps in the road.

Also added a few cheap mods that I'm really happy with.

I bought those door lock covers but they are a PITA to get to fit properly and stay stuck on.....I'm working on those.

Finally got the door lock covers on. They are really more trouble than they're worth though. I needed to remove all of the 3M adhesive strips and place new ones on better locations to avoid the large screws holding the brackets on.

I really love the STT Pro's and I found for a mud tire they aren't that noisy. I run Goodyear Duratracs in a smaller size in winter on my stock wheels and don't find them much quieter.

The STT Pro's weigh less than most of their competition. They balanced really easily and never give me any vibration grief.

They are wearing really well so far. They really are a great tire....can't say enough about them.

I'll be getting them again.
