I have to have an 8 ft bed. I hope and figure the regular cabs will be late along with the 2500's. Don't see how the 2500 & 3500 could do without a regular cab. There is bound to be more stuff coming on down the road. Split tailgate, bed ramps (which may explain the lower step on rear bumper) and they could even throw an Express package. Time will tell.

I have a 2016 Ram Sport 4X4, rcsb which I ordered back in November of 2015. My previous truck was a '05 Ram Daytona 4X4 in GoMango Orange.
I really hope they offer another rcsb truck or else I will have to look elsewhere. There was a newer Chevy rcsb truck in front of me today in all black. Looked pretty bad ass.

Might I ask why? Is it parts compatibility with the 5.7?
6.4 is known for their egg shell ring lands..lol. The 6.1 can handle more boost. Especially with a good tuner that knows what hes doing. This is stock vs stock

That's.... Good to know. My pipe dream build was a 6.4 swapped ram. Hm. Guess the 6.1 is better, anyway. Especially after seeing that thread of the guy who actually 6.1 swapped his ram. Cool.

If you are not going to run a power adder or only 5psi go for it. You can also do the drop in forged rods and pistons in the 6.4. I think the drop ins are for 25k miles and less. More miles, it would need machined iirc.

Lool, no, I was thinking 10-25psi for my 'dream build'. But IDEFK what I really want or want to do right now. Just trying to do something that I can afford. Anything, really. As well as keep the ***** running and in good condition.

So, I built a rcsb with Ford, Chevy and GMC. (REMEMBER,....we're talking just rcsb trucks here.)
Compared to my '16 Ram Sport 4X4, they're cheap. When I say "cheap", I mean, not as nice as the Ram. No heated leather seats/heated steering wheels/heated outside mirrors. I also think the floors aren't even carpeted like the rcsb Ram trucks. So, in my opinion, and not because I own one, but the 4th generation Ram is the nicest rcsb out there that you can get from a dealership.
I really hope that Ram/FCA keeps the rcsb as nice as it's always been and even better!

Regardless I'm keeping my Express Hemi RC short box.
All the truck I'll ever need and it is all MINE not the banks
I'm not getting rid of mine either. I'm talking about down the road. After the truck gets old and needs to be traded in. For me, it won't happen for years and years. I have low, low mileage and the truck is well kept/cleaned/Cquartz Finest.

You can build-out a 2019 Ram 1500 on the Ram website, but there's no pricing. You have to contact a dealer. As to building regular cabs, they were built in Mexico. FCA is moving ALL North American Ram production back to the United States. This includes 2500-4500. Since production will be shutdown until a US plant can tool up, this might explain why regular cabs are not on the website yet.

No question Ram makes the best RCSB. My last truck I was looking for a nice crew cab, and Ford came out on top. After the disappointments I ran into with the Ford, I decided what I really wanted was a regular cab and once I started looking, it was no contest. The RCSB Sport is the only RC any brand took the time to put some distinction into. That said, I haven't seen leather seats (unless you're counting the outer trim)?

I'm sure there's a RC on the way, but I'm not surprised it's not being pushed as hard to hit the market right away as there is a smaller buyer base. Part of what makes the RC unique!

Amen brother!!!
I have a 2016 Bright White Sport 4X4 rcsb, which I ordered back in early November and get it delivered in mid-December. The heated seats are awesome. The outer part is leather, while the middle is like a mesh type material. Either way, like we agree on, it the best optioned rcsb out there today!

According to my dealership regular cab trucks will be late availibility due to the plant moving back from Mexico.
