I've had my truck for three, years, and today I learned there is supposed to be a little green light in the dash that says "ECO" when the MDS activates. I've never seen this before, apparently the dealer turned this setting off before I took delivery of the truck. Anyway, a buddy of mine showed me how to turn this on today, and so now I'm going to be getting much better mileage.

Went to a dealership that was willing to do a little research and updating to their equipment so that they could do it.

I just gave them my VIN and from help from another member here, told them that I needed sales code LM5 added. This is for the premium projector headlights.

Just note though, once you activate them, you can’t go in and turn them off at your own will the same as you can with other selectable features from your Uconnect screen like the auto-highbeams for example, or the rain-sensitive wipers, mirror tilt in reverse....etc, etc. Theres no setting for it like there is on the older trucks. At least not now, anyways as far as I know so, once they’re enabled, they’re on unless you go back to the dealer and have them disabled. I don’t think it’s a big deal, though. The amber turn-signal strips only illuminate when the truck’s in gear and running. Soon as you stop and put it in Park they turn off.

Hopefully whoever made these headlights for Ram used really good quality parts and hopefully won’t start burning out LED’s like I’ve seen on some of those cheap aftermarket LED taillights.

Headlight mod? What did you modify? All I did to mine was just toss those factory bulbs and replaced them with the Sylvania ZXE bulbs in my lowbeams, highbeams and fogs. My light’s not that white but they’re a lot whiter than they were.

I really considered one of those but I was just more drawn to the retractable style tonneau. I like how I can set mine wherever I want it and not have it sitting on top of itself if I roll it up, or having it rest against the cab if I have it all the way folded up. I do like how that one is easily removable tho but I don’t use my truck bed for hardly anything so I made my peace with it.

Changed my oil, 4qts of 10w30 and 3qts of 5w30 Redline and the larger Royal Purple filter .
Add Redline S1 fuel system cleaner & Redline water wetter, filled all tires back up and dumped my catch can nasty stuff in there.
