I brought my truck into to the local Ram dealer in Fairfax, VA on May 31st for an oil change, Stupid black sticker crap between the windows, front parking sensor warning message and something loose under the dash. About once a month I would get a warning message saying front parking sensors in operable, please wipe off. then the message would go away. they always worked other than the message popping up once in a while. I was 1st told the part was back ordered until 6-18. yesterday I was told the part is due in at the end of June now. Beside that the truck was finally in the body shop yesterday to deal with the sticker crap(2nd time I brought it in for it). Took 18 days to get it in for this. And they say they can't duplicate the rattle under the dash. They did give me a rental. Which is was pretty stoked on. I commute from Wash DC to my home in Va Bch, VA every weekend. Driving the rental is saving me 500 miles a week on my truck, but dam I miss my truck. A Compass is not the same as a Larieme Ram 1500....

Sorry about all your issues man, that sucks. But I’m curious about the noise under your dash you mentioned; what kind of noise is it? It’s not a sound that kinda resembles the calmer growl or whatever, for lack of better terms like the growl of the Predator, is it?...lol. I’ve got a similar noose myself that does it twice that sounds like that and it’s only when you first start up the truck.

DC to Va Beach. Man I made that trip too many times. 95 and 64 SUCK!!!! State troopers everywhere, 2 lanes and walls of trees forever. Uggh.

OK, get @ramcares involved here. They will liaise with the dealer and get you sorted. That is crap customer service on the dealer's part.

Its more of something feels loose under the dash than a noise. I feel it in the steering wheel if a hit a good size expansion joint while rolling down the interstate.

yeah the trip does suck. been doing it for almost 4 years now. Its a lot better trip now with my comfy Ram 1500 Laramie. Was driving a Silverado 3500 Diesel for over a year. Thing beat me to death.

According to the dealer the part is back ordered. Not much the dealer can do.

That sounds like something more coming from underneath the truck than just under the dash.

I’m kinda wondering if mine might be a sticking blend door or something similar.

They’re not SUPPOSED to give you anything, that’s why it’s called a “courtesy” loaner. Loaners are not required and are not covered under warranty.

Sorry, but the first "courtesy" would be me letting a dealership work on my truck...

Must be different in MD. Texas they give you a loaner comparable to what you have if the repair takes more than a day.
