Any good pics of how you clipped the rear bed tails? Did you fold the stuff under (leave excess to make a matched fold) since it looks like you drew a straight line off the base of the tailgate to bumper corner fold?

What's your departure angle now?

Take it out to Hungry Valley or Ocotillo!!

My cut line was dependent on my tube bend. Note the cut doesn’t follow the body line. There are no folds.
Bottom of receiver is now 24” from ground, departure angle is roughly 37*.
Taking it out to Afton in a month or so. I’ll try and get some pics

Got the shift interlock recall done and laughed when I was told there's still no parts for the tailgate popping open recall that may or may not be pending.

I replied, "Umm, like I said last time, it's not like you can't simply turn off the "Unlock All" in the system or just unplug the tailgate connector and use the dummy plug and cover deal they come with when you buy new."

The poor advisor kid got confused for a minute or two.

Also, a tail gate assist is a good feature for just in case

I enabled the side view mirrors auto tilt down when putting truck in reverse. We'll see how well I like it.

I had a ultra gauge in a few of my past vehicles, screen got damaged during a move a few years back. Might have to get another, it's hard to beat the $79 price tag.
