Used mine to tow my trailer, carrying our motorcycle and lots of boxes, to SC for our move.

Now need to update my profile on here. :)

I'm sitting a little past 20k miles. When did y'all start having broken exhaust bolt issues. Need to know when I'll need headers lol

It seems to vary greatly!!
My 17 had 3 replaced at somewhere close to 20k, now at 43k and all good so far....fingers crossed

how common is this in the 4th gen anyhow?

i would think it has some to do with driving style too? and off roading? just a thought..

It’s very common on the 4th gens. Some break immediately and others well after 100k.

I just had JBA shorty headers put on a couple weeks ago to prevent this from happening. My truck has 50k on it and had no broken bolts.

Got these off Amazon for like $150 or something stupid like that. Dropping some flowable silicon around the joint and some h9s in. Should tide me over. Nice little snow day project. Was gonna do a nice setup from Nick at got exhaust, than I needed oil before this cold rolls in so I went budget. Adulting is lame413cdd9a2a2df4a220904fe65999bec8.jpg
