I mainly add 4-5oz in both Edges & 8-10oz in Kole’s 30gal tank.

My diesel additive fetish is way more complex.

I apologize TX: if you only knew the number of members who have been butt hurt because they did what I did and they didn’t see similar results.

I just try to cover all my bases explaining every motor is different every result is going to be different in some way shape or form.

My Briggs mower & generac Generator react well to the TC-W3 in the fuel.

My Stihl weed eater gets can 92 oct mixed fuel not TC-W3.
I was a Stanadyne user, and will be again when I get the next Cummins. Do you get yours from Scheid Diesel?

Chillax, brother! I'm not making fun...I read up on it and decided to try it, plain and simple. The ST stuff was cheap and if it saves some gas and keeps the engine clean, I'm all in.

As for ill effects from ethanol fuel in lawn and garden two-strokes, well, I don't run that junk in my weed trimmer.

I saw zero gas mileage gains in my truck but i still use it.

Sorry I don’t remember what truck you have if it’s a 5.7 or a 6.4..... if you have a 5.7 and have not already I recommend getting an oil catch can.

Yep, got a 5.7 and a BT CC...I put that sucker on my Reb the day it came home more than 42K miles ago! I don't really expect better MPG (especially the way I drive), but I know it can happen in other vehicles.

I bought 4- 8oz bottles off of Amazon for $20
EBay had the same price for 4 -8oz bottles.

The front bottles are new - The back bottles are refilled with Schaeffers SoyShield (6-8oz every fill up) - I just bought the Stanadyne for the 8oz bottles.
Nothing wrong with Stanadyne: Performance & Lubricity would be good choices.
I just prefer Schaeffers! Due to talking with the Reps & the strong reputation of the company itself.

Schaeffers Diesel Treat 2000 will be used in place of the SoyShield if it becomes unavailable at any time.

I also have a Ton of faith in Hot Shots Secret Diesel Extreme - 16oz every 6 months (Recommended dose & time period) - That's what's in the Gumout One N Done bottles.
They had the Gallon jugs on sale w/25% coupon code so I bought a gallon.
Ya the wife really dislikes my New Fetish.

I told her - She needs to be very thankful I don't have a fetish for
Going to Bars
Cigarettes
Drugs
Alcohol
*****

So my little 1 fetish is saving us Thousands of $$$ a year.

Yes I am some what obsessed! But I like it & it could be 10X worse with the issues I listed above so I'm thankful.

Once again is ALL this necessary? Possibly not to this extreme - But neither is spending thousands of $$$ on audio equipment / lift kits & huge wheels/tires / tuners & programmers /CAI kits - I could go on & on!
It's all individual owner preference. To Each His/Her Own!

My 2 main Go To fuel additives!
One is a emulsifier & one is a demulsifier so I don't use them at the same time.

Not to change the subject but I found this on Boobs and think its interesting info:

https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/foru...thalene-an-according-to-oil-club-#Post5079483

If that is true, maybe hammer just figured out why redline kills ticks.

"POE fights for the metal surfaces with the AW/EP addditives."

Which would be we have bad uoa's ar first, then as we wear away those sharp edges wear numbers have been better then good, and our base oil fights for the metal. Gees, makes me want to buy a couple more cases, my base oil fights for the metal surface and group 3 is dormant stuff that actually wants to run from hot surfaces. hmm, good post there sir.

You will notice again that poster Gotham hints at the spectrum analisys being able to tell ester content by oxidation number, I'm not sure that is possible, and I'm have no evidence it isn't possible. I will be researching that when I get time, I really want to learn more on that. If true that is very good info, as we can see ester contents of other formulas we haven't considered, like euro m1 0w40 as he says.

don't get all judgemental now, some of the items on the list make this human misery much much better.

I'm not sure we pealed back enough of this onion on 2 stroke oil, you have been a big fan of TC-W3 2 stroke oils? Use them in your gas truck, but not the diesel? why? and, do you use that in your small machines?

Ok oil syn guys: My sons 5.7 2014 express 60,000 mi, has been serviced by Ram dealer with prepaid OC's, at normal 5-6K intervals. 0w20 semi syn dealer oil. Sound fine no bad ticks. Should He switch to full Syn? will probably trade it 100-120 K. What do you think?

I have been using euro 0w40 mobil 1 in my wife’s explore and it is the quietest it has ever been.

I HAVE been putting in a small amount of redline ZDDP (1/4 bottle) and MOS2 for giggles. Im on the 3rd OCI doing this combo and now im going to do another UOA (this fall) to see how the numbers compare to when i used the OLD formulation of Amsoil SS. Amsoil produced “better than average numbers” in that explorer said blackstone.

Amsoil UOA was done with truck was a bit over 100,000 miles. Truck is approaching 130,000 right now.

No, if he is gonna trade it in around 40k miles I'd just use pyb on a short interval, like 5k miles.

Even single engine i own gets some form of 2 stroke oil in it.

What made you choose that over reg m1 0w40? Sounds like maybe that oil can possibly help some of us as well? Say someone wanting a different oil then the voodoo.

Only reason I tried it is because literally every store in my town only carries the euro version. Kind of weird. And I’m not interested in ordering oil online for her truck[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji23]

I tried castrol edge 0w40 and it was noisy. Wanted to run a 0w40 on the shelf and that was my only other option. Well.... there is RP but I wouldn’t use that stuff on my fence

Just returning the favor on folks being extremely judgmental on owners minding their own business & using fuel additives.

What's good for the mighty goose is also good for them Dam Ganders!

Adding fuel additives makes me feel extremely good as well with no hangovers or killing my insides!

My argument is simple & to the point!
MOST say additives are a waste of $$$ - Every counter I listed is as well!
Mine is just 10X cheaper & way less harmful.

Don't need to run the TC-W3 in my 6.7L - SoyShield contains a much higher lubricity property.
It's cleaning abilities are second to none.

Like I once again posted above - TC-W3 is added & has been added to ALL the family gasoline running autos (past & present) as well as Lawnmowers/generator for over 20 some years with Never a issue.

Burla: When ya get that Onion totally pulled back - Let me know what ya find.
There are SO Many members of BITOG using TC-W3 after Sarges testing went public it's crazy! His testing just made sense to me! So I followed his results!

 Its very hard to stir-up $hit when there is really nothing negative happening!

and as it turns it might be the best choice anyhow. I assume you are talking national chain stores. So the better question would be why they stock that item. They don't have regular m1 listed in 0w40 on thier site, in fact no 40 weight oil. They still sell it, but for some reason they don't list it. Maybe most applications for the 0w40 are european cars, so that is why the national chains stock that over the regular m1 0w40?

Have you tried sex? It gives similar feelings with some health benefits. Just make sure you back up like a good truck driver before you dump your load. Otherwise it gets expensive fast.

Just messing with you SYN.

I love my additives to
