How’s the sound inside the cab with the borla? I’ve been seriously considering replacing the carven I have on mine.

The sweet, sweet sound of quiet! The drone is almost non-existent. The Borla has a low-throaty growl at take-off mainly from the ceramic tips, then evens out nicely at cruising speeds.

According to the spousal unit, she could hear me 6 houses away with the Carven, now it's only 2 houses.

Hauled furniture from Spring, TX to Conroe, New Waverly, Montgomery, Cypress, Katy, and Victoria.

My truck may be a short bed, but it sure as **** beats the bed in my old '02 Dakota.

Its a little loud at times around town, not like the carven tho, but when cruising at highway speeds its quiet enough. U can sell the carven for more than itll cost u to buy the parts to make a borla clamp on. Any regrets go bk!

gas is 98 cents a liter here right now which is a rarity (it's below 1.10 a liter on a good day for regular) so I'm gassing up about every 2 days while it's so cheap! (cheap for us canadians anyway)

on the subject of what you do to your 4th gen this week, oil catch can yesterday, dee zee assist today. i'm broke otherwise filling my gas tank;)
That is rare , $1.58 here

ouch! i remember the first time seeing 1.50 gasoline in Alberta for me was in 2005. I remember because I was driving a cadillac cts-v and thinking maybe getting it was not the best decision with gas prices. I also was putting on a lot more mileage than I am today.

Returned from deployment just in time for it to roll past the 15,000 mile mark!! Installed my pedal commander today and wow what a difference it makes in throttle response. Hopefully tomorrow I will be putting my rear lowering coils and helper bags in. 20190613_230416.jpg

While I don't hate you I'll admit I'd love to bring in something bigger than a 13' rainbow. Yeah, heading up to the lake again this year.

So is that technically a steelhead or what?

You could move up here ! A balmy 68F with a windchill. Froze my ass out on on Lake Ontario with 4 foot waves to catch this beauty [emoji2957]2b8d29c7331891a5e2c922e95fc4956d.jpg. I drove there in my ram to meet my buddy so that falls under “what I did”? [emoji2369]

Ha ha ha.

It’s a salmon. You can get them in the fall in rivers. But a 20-35 pound salmon in a river or creek is hard to fight safely.

In the fall you will get the false steel head run. They come up to eat the salmon eggs but in the spring you get the big ones coming up to spawn. In my area you can fish them all year south of the most southerly train tracks to the shores of Lake Ontario. So depending on ice you could fish as early as feb or March and land a HUGE steel head.

Best to use is a float rod and reel. Tiny weights every 6-8 inches. Small hook and a worm. Slip float so you can adjust the depth accordingly. Fish slow bends and if there is an undercut you will catch one almost every time. Key for trout is subtle. And keep your face to the sun. [emoji106][emoji106]

Umm.... I polished around my gas tank to get scratches out from stupid nozzles. So that’s what I did this week [emoji2369]

99016662-EF97-439B-9FA0-90398311AD40.jpeg Day off...Gave it a wash and now a little tire balance love at DT.
Update: Wow, these guys know their stuff. Drives so much better. They did great job. The old balance was way off according to them. I shouldve known better on the install, one of my buddies assured me his brother’s shop was the best and they did the original mount and balance.
