I'd run those a few minutes before buttoning up the job, 110w might get your wiring!
Think so? Didn't even consider that.

Think about it. Even HIDs are either 35 or 55w.
Halogens too.
I'd make sure the wires don't get warm before reassembling.

I'll try one more led bulb.... they arrive Friday.

Reviews seem good. Some say better then ultras
I'll put one of each in my lows and see how they look.

I ran those. I felt they were the brightest out of all that I tried in the h7 size.

Good deal. I just double checked there 55w per bulb now 110w. So I think they will be safe. Why did you change them out?

Hey good looking out. I read into it... each bulb is 55watt

There's no way they are a true 110w. They might be 110w combined/55w each, but I doubt it.

Because I retrofitted my headlights. I was hoping I'd be able to get them to work with the h1 projectors but they were just a little to big so they wouldn't fit inside the projector. I definitely was impressed with them.

****, now I'm curious to see how they look. I really wish they used a more common sized bulb, like h11. At least that way I could resell some of these extra bulbs to try to recoup some costs. I already posted on my local ram Facebook group seeing if anyone with black oem quads wanted to switch...

Back to the stock housings, never bothered to put the hids back in the alpharex housings. I'm running hyb 55w hids with 6000k h11 low beam and stock high beam for now. The led high beam bulb didn't fit right, so they went back to Amazon and the search for a new bulb begins.

Fahren 9005s fit the high beams and have an adjustable base.
I ran the same setup in my quads, still have it all (in the classified forum;))

I hear you. I was hoping to find someone local that wanted to upgrade and work out a trade of sorts for the alpharex. I may still, but for now, at least I can see.
Side note, I had a set of the fahren bulbs in my cart, but heard good things about the novisight or whatever they're called.

The aukee bulbs are in. I legit left the headlight off my ram and adjusted the beam until I got what I wanted which was more focus foward. I think I got it.

They still don't put out as much as the reflectors were use too but they work for me.

I'll get pix when I can.

That looks like someone lost the adjuster that is supposed to be there, and just put a bolt in as opposed to replacing it. Did you buy the truck new? I have a 2015 1500 (not HD anything) and I have the adjuster there. Never messed with the adjustment on it, but it is there.
No- nothing was lost. Ive looked at 4 HDs now and none of them have that adjustment.

Update- Hikari Ultras are now aimed and theyre great, but the highs are too high. If ai can get the highs and lows to ignite at the same time with my highs on, itll be a great high beam.
