Currently installing JBA ceramic shortys on my 2014 5.7 4x4.
Passenger side is done dust need to re torque after a few heat cycles. Drivers side I’m having issues.
1. Best tool or way to tighten the 2 most bottom rear next to the starter header bolts. Using ARP 10 mill heads.
I’ve used a flex head ratchet box and an off set box. Got them tight but not that tight.
2. Substantial exhaust leak. Same side driver. I believe front bottom front.
I can’t seemed to get it sealed up
Ticks at idle but is insanely loud under a load.
Tomorrow I’m pulling the driver side to start over.
Used gaskets that came with the JBA headers.
I do have copper RTV. Should I use that and coat both sides of the gasket.
I’m broke and have to do the work myself. Can’t take it to a shop.
Amateur gear/ motor head been wrenching most of my life.
