If they are now saying that these cases are defective there should be a recall on them.

Especially if the new one locks in 4lock and low then it should most definitely be a recall

I don't get it. They were willing to buy it my lease because they said that all of these things are normal. If all it takes is a simple replacement of the transfer case to fix it I think ram would have told my dealer to fix it for me instead of paying twice as much getting me out of the truck... I hope this fixes the issues but I'm not holding my breath!

Well they have a transfer case on order, its backordered with about 20 more ordered ahead of it according to their computer lol, ill be sure to test it the day i get it replaced too lol, fyi my truck has 41000kms on it

Did they say if the replacement will be another 44-44 transfer case?

Ya, i had inquired about getting it replaced with the 44-45, but claimed it couldnt be done because of all the electronics

Is your friend also in Canada maybe that is why the in which they made the switch is different???

Yes sir were in Canada. The switch isn't different on mine I got the same buttons as everyone else. My friend has the same dial as everyone else.

In 4 lock his binds up while mine does not. If I run my truck up against something on ice my tires are turning together. When I drive it on the road I feel the front and rear break loose together in 4 lock. Auto not so much

I edited I meant the year in which they switched cases may differ in Canada so you and Loveracing could be right on years but the years might differ by country.

The case went into the trucks late 2012 so for a 2011 to have it is impossible.

late 2012 would mean 2013 models and up then right?

Still backordered, been a month and a half and they figure another 2-3 weeks probably, just goes to show how many issues they've been having i guess, i emailed ram customer service yesterday to voice my dissatisfaction, i was hoping to get into a rebel but for whatever reason they decided this was a good transfer case for it also so that turned me off

Ya the specs show the part time case on the v6 equipped and on demand i think i saw as option but standard with the hemi with no part time option, my thought was wtf i thought they built this truck with the outdoor enthusiast in mind then go and throw that piece of junk in there
