I got mine from eBay. I think it was $600 or so then i just put them on myself. If you decide to go that route you will definitely need a pneumatic hog ring tool. They're expensive. I just bought one then sold it after I was done.
Yes. I installed a Kenwood radio with car play because I was having some problems with the factory radio. That has been about 3 months ago with no problems until yesterday. I am assuming the plugs and wires for the instrument cluster are behind the the instrument cluster and go down from there...
The weird thing, well all of it is weird. It doesn’t do it all the time. If I have cruise control on it will cancel and disable. I was driving from Minneaplois to Chicago after I stopped for gas it was fine the rest of the trip.
This is bad news. It must be an active mic then. I was really hoping I could use the factory mic. I guess I’m going to have to print a holder for the Kenwood mic. Either that or I guess I could take the factory mic apart
Did you wire both mics? If so I can see where what you are describing would be the case. Otherwise I don’t understand why that wouldn’t work. Polarity issue perhaps. I can definitely see where you would have feedback with both mics.
I’m using a JL audio Fix 86 front and rear are biamped to the front. 2 channels for the tweeter and 3” in the dash and 2 channels for the 6.5 in the door. This way I can fade a little more to the 6.5 when I really want to rock out without the tweeters being so bright. It’s really a distance...
You are going to get more opinions than there are atoms in the universe. So good luck. I have a singe Fox Box with a Focal Flax 10" I couldn't be happier. For the front, Focal flax 3ways bi-amped with a JL 900/5. No rears of coarse.
The covers are the same for either quads or projectors. You should be able to pick up quads pretty cheap. Or maybe the covers have a part number. I know the screws do. I am having the same problem finding bulb retaining clips.
Apparently the little plastic retaining clips that hold the bulb in the housing are part of the headlight housing and can not be purchased separately. Or at least purchased from the dealer. So what happens when you break those little rings? Or in my case want to change the bulb from the 2013...
Yes. the short story is condensation. I bought a set of OEM projectors that had this problem knowing I was going to change the switchbacks to RGB. Then I sealed the lens and vented the back of the housing. I am still in the testing phase for a couple of different theories. If I am not mistaken...
