Most I've gotten my stock truck to was about 120-121 area.

150+ in both the current SRT (with some left) and my built 400 '72 Road Runner. Had my 03 Ram to 130 and physics pretty much said 'nah' to anymore lol. Scary is a '74 Monaco w/440 at 120....not because it was unstable, but because you could literally watch the gas gauge FALL.

I never even got my 1998 Trans AM past 125mph. I was on Sawgrass expressway in S Fla. I was too worried about cops and my t tops were off lol

With my oversized tires, loose steering, and front shocks that are just for looks at this point, if I hit a bump going 90+ I'm pretty sure my front end would just explode.

My brother had a Camaro SS. I think it was a 2000. Had the LS1 like my '98 TA. He was going over the mid-bay Bridge in Destin,FL and one of them went flying off over the side of the bridge ( thank God not on the vehicle behind him) and landed in the Choctawhatchee bay. He didn't close the hahdle all the way so the pins weren't fully engaged.

Rumor has it a grouper has a beautiful picture window view.

Yeah I was stationed in Destin 00 though summer 2004 and that sounds vaguely familiar.

USCG Station down by the Destin bridge. Eglin was our support facility. After 9/11 we spent all-nighters on guard in Boggy Bayou since that's where Eglin's fuel barges come in and they were afraid of sabotage/attack.

A truck is the shape of a brick, I would think that could have something to do with it.
I never trusted the standard tires , not that I ever had any problem with the crappy GY.
I have never tried mine, last bike I had would lift the front end off the ground with a fairing on it about 90, and the others where 1940's HD and Indians, so slow was good.
I remember my '47 Chev coupe would top out at 74mph, still in the family, getting redone
now.

With speed rated tires on it,you can easily drive it with 1 hand wide open I've rode in my buddies pullied / tuned and tweaked Red Eye with the 2.62 gears,and that thing is nuts,even at 195 mph,it was still pulling,before he backed out of it. Check out the wheels on the back of his Red Eye,the green Challenger beside his has 295's on it,lol. He's done a mini tub,and runs a 15" brake conversion,so he can run massive 15 inch tires on it. Car has spun the rollers to just over 1100 at the wheels.

My 2005 SRT 10 Commemorative Edition single Cab with the six speed Trimec would hit almost right at 160 . It was totally stock with no power upgrades. Factory gears were 456 with Factory 22 in wheels. The faster you went the better it drove, all the Viper SRT running gear with the rear wing and front spoiler made the truck just sit down at high speed. Loved that truck! My 2020 Ram Laramie 4x4 5.7 is a great truck but it shuts off at 105 with 392 gears . When I first bought it after a few miles I had some good open highway and opened it up and when it just sut down at 105 I took it back to the dealership to find out what was wrong with it. They said they are Factory limited to that speed and they couldn't change it.

Ahhh... the sawgrass my old young lad stompin grounds off griffen road,mall wasnt even there yet but I knew the area ....u coulda jumped on the alley and easily hit that inside of 2-3 miles after the toll...I hit 132 area( in my now wifes) 87 t/a on the other side in naples on 75 sum years later when we moved over to the other side... she was not happy I did that but hey my buddies supra decided he wanted to throw down goin to the dog track..(we got there 1st...lol)...didnt like the floaty feeling of that car...fastest ever and I wasnt driving , was a ride along around daytona at 182 area...that dam car was still pulling...I was like holy sh%#....wth!....ya that one impressed me.....but needless to say 100 area is all I'll bout ever get to nowadays..I still get hollered at for goin that fast....lol.
P.s.she banned me years ago from getting a crotch rocket.knowing my early years with dirt bikes.
I think we've all done some stupid stuff in our lives and can only look back and say what in the hell was i thinkin?....we were thinkin dam this sh%$ is fun!
