Been driving for a few weeks since the Bils and tires got put on. There is a definite reduction in fuel mileage. I was seeing 27 on the highway driving conservative. Its more like 23 now. I knew it would drop some, but i was thinking like 2mpg. Looks like it cost me about 4-5mpg.

Drove it around 100 miles today. No funny noises and the ride quality is improved in my opinion (even with the addition of larger tires). Very pleased!

I'm not familiar with the strut extension method, but I had coil spacers on a 2009 Chevy that worked fine. Word is that they don't get along with Rams though. On my new Ram, I went with Bilstein 5100's that I just installed today. So far, I am not disappointed. The truck handles a little...
I got'er done this morning. Passenger side went MUCH faster because I learned a lot of valuable lessons on the drivers side. Got the other side done in 2 hours and did manage to get new tires and alignment today's. Drives great.

Gymkata, I bet they would fit. I'll try to take some closer pics for you in the daytime so you can see how much clearance I have.

Thanks Danam. They are definitely proud of them. I almost went cheap with Federal Couragia's, but I've read too much about them being a junk tire and only lasting about 10,000 miles. Toyos cost me $425 each including mount/balance.

Thanks, Parkerbows. I'm anxious to go drive it some and see how she handles. So far, I've only been from the tire shop to the front end shop which is all of 2 miles lol

The Bilstein 5100 install was definitely a learning experience. It's a m!@#&$ to get the nut loose on top of the factory struts when removing them from the coil spring because there is not enough room for a wrench and you can't use a socket and hold backup at the same time.
I also had a...
Mine stripped too in the exact same spot. I had hell on this install today. Had to drive 2.5 hours round trip to find the part on a Sunday. Overall, I spent 8 hours tied up on this today and only got one side done. Here's hoping I have time to get the other side done, get alignment and new...
Guys, I apologize. I know the info is here somewhere, but I've read for hours until I'm blue in the face and can't find a clear answer.
2015 Ram 4x4 Ecodiesel
Factory 20" Chrome clad wheels
Bilstein's at 2.1
Whats the biggest size mud tire I can fit without rubbing and without wheel spacers...
I'm also considering bils in the front, spacer in the back and a small body lift. Do you guys know if all of the body lift kits require you to cut the frame ends to mount the bumper relocation brackets?

Thanks for the info, guys. I talked to Dodge, and they are saying that I will void my powertrain warranty? Definitely don't want that. I may just go bills and 33's to be safe.
