So I just bought a 2020 ram 1500 classic and I’ve got a rough country 6 inch mono tube coil over lift coming. Also have 22x10 rims and 37 inch tires coming. What’s the best gear ratio to bring the truck back to stock ratio with maybe a little more pulling power?
I bought a 6" Rc lift for my 2016 1500, first lift I'm installing.
Do I need new control arms or can I keep stock. RC said stock would work but I don't trust them.
Also getting new rims and tires I've been told I can only run 35x12.5R20. Would I be able to run 37x12.5R17 looking at the Falken...
I've been looking into the rough country 2in front leveling struts , paired with the rough country n3 rear shocks running 33x12.5 / 22s . I was wondering if anyone else is running anything similar.
Had a RC level kit installed Saturday, and upgraded tires to Wildpeak A/Tw3 in LT295 60-20. I'm pretty happy so far... BUT...
According to my calculations, the speedo is now approximately 5.9% off. My understanding is that this impacts the computer's calculations for a myriad of things...
I'm looking at putting a leveling kit on my 2018 ram2500 6.4. I found a 2.5 rough country with shocks and was thinking of getting it. And I'm looking at 20x9 fuel assault for it. My question is with 2.5 in the front should I get a 1" spacer in the back also or will it sit level without it. I'm...
I have a 2010 1500 5.7 4x4 and Im looking to lift it at some point. Could I get bilstein 5100's for the front to level it out for now and then down the road install a 6" lift in conjunction with the bilsteins? Also, any opinions on rough country? Offroading? Longevity/Durability?
I’m looking for a lift kit for my 14 Ram. It’s 2WD and I’m kinda stuck between the RC 4 inch and the Maxtrac. I’m not interested in putting 37’s on it, so I’m not going up to 6”. Any suggestions on which one and why?
Hi all,
Been reading many informative posts by users of the site and just wanted to say hello and thank you. The breadth of knowledge, a lot from trial and error, helps the rest of us with our maintaining or upgrading.
A little about me...
I bought my Ram 1500 brand new in 2011 and didn't make...
I’m selling a used RC 2.5” level kit for the 09-2020 Ram Classic 4x4 models only.
The kit has about 30k miles on it and is rusty but that’s powder coat for ya.
The kit comes with strut preload spacers (you must disassemble the strut, install spacer and re assemble the strut. Then the shin...
Hello, new to the forum.
I have owned my 2016 PW for 3 1/2 years. It is my everyday truck but I also use it offroad hunting and such.
I put a 2 inch front leveling kit and 35s on the stock wheels when I bought it and it has been great performance wise. However, I have still wanted a more...
Update, I replaced N3 in the rear with V2. The N3 was to soft when I had gear in the bed.

First, I really wish I had gone this route from the get-go. I really am a fan of the ride. I have N3 all the way around now.
Ok, for the question. I added a 1" billet spacer and removed the 3/4" poly...
Just wanted to post a couple of pictures of the Rough Country HD2 running boards that I put on my Ram 1500. Installation was pretty simple, one thing I ran into with the rear brackets is remembering to slide them forward towards the front of the truck to get them to line up correctly.
Overall...
So im sure im probably beating a dead horse by asking this but ive been looking at all these different companies that make lifts for our trucks (i.e. rough country, zone, bds, superlift, pro comp, etc.) And the only ones i can find that has another option for the 6 inch lift besides a strut...
I have a 2012 1500 with a 6” zone lift kit with 35x13.5x20 toyo rt’s. I just replaced the lower control arms with moog arms that have new balljoint and bushings pre installed. I also am replacing my stock strut that has the lift spacer on it with rough country n3 pre loaded struts for a 6” lift...
I am looking at getting a 6in rough country lift kit and I was wondering if 37x12.5 tires on 20x12 wheels would fit? If anyone has done this did you encounter any issues?
Hi my Dodge friends, I'm new to this as of 3-29-19. I have some questions about installing rc 3" lift.
First off I installed 1.5" coil spacer a few years ago and it seems like i have had front end problems since so i bought the new kit from rc including new coils and new shocks.
Do i need to...
Okay, so I decided against the 6 inch rough country considering it's just a 4 inch lift with the 2 inch leveling springs, I already had 3 inch leveling spacers so I left them in and added the RC 4 inch, giving me, what I imagine being similar results to rough countrys 6 inch, plus 1 inch , I...
Does your Ram wander and/or have sloppy steering? Wandering is very common for our trucks, and if my 2018 travels along the road like a drunk, then a steering gear box stabilizer will do you right. Our trucks have frame flex and steering slop, and gets slightly worse when we upgrade our tires...
Good Evening Gents,
Newbie on the fourms and i'm looking to see if anyone would know if the Pro Comp 6" Stage 1 Front and Rear Complete Lift: Item #171458443 is going to fit on my 2013 Single Cab 2wd 3.6l truck. I buy all of my parts on CarID and it's saying that it's compatible. I just picked...
Anyone here running this exact kit?
http://www.roughcountry.com/dodge-suspension-lift-kit-31200c.html
I'd like to see what it looks like and know what size tires you're running. Also, any issues with the axle angle?
I have been told this kit is pretty solid and doesn't have any axle issues -...
Hey guys! I got a 2.5 RC level kit installed this past weekend and got some new tires. Due to limited funds, I went fairly conservative, but it left me itching for more! Let me know what you think.
After the level kit and tires.
After level kit and tires.... all cleaned up ;)
Before...
Hello all,
I have a 2012 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi 2wd and want to install a suspension lift on it. I am trying to decide on the Maxtrac 7” lift or the Rough Country 6” lift. I’m sure a lot of you here have great reviews on Maxtrac but does anyone have the Rough Country lift? I will provide the links...
