I found a used Rugged Liner on CL for $50 I'd like to put in my son's 2006 we recently bought. Checked out RL's website and they show different part #'s for '02 - '05 and '06 - '18 short bed's.
Does anyone know what difference there is between the two beds that would prevent the '05 liner from fitting an '06? I know the tailgate added a spoiler in '06, but the tailgate cover is a separate part # on RL's site and separate from the liner. Different tie downs?
I know a spray-in liner is better (I have one in my '07), but I don't want to spend the money on a truck that's about to be abused by a 16 y.o. driver...mainly looking to cover the existing dents in the bed walls.
