If your time/money/mind allows, I would highly suggest expanding and opening your options. There are numerous subs that would make the W7 sound like a baby. While JL has top notch R&D and quality, there is a lot out there that offers more bang for your buck.

Sundown has been around since the mid-2000s. A kid named Jacob Fuller from the car audio forums got tired of paying high prices for crap and decided to make his own amplifier. It was cost effective, powerful, and under-rated. It quickly grow into a line-up of multiple amplifiers and a few years later he started building subwoofers and speakers. His amps/subs have been winning competitions for guys for over a decade now. This company is getting big and give them another 10-20 years and they will be a household name. I have already seen there popularity grow with more and more customers asking me about them. https://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers-2

Other companies out there putting loud subwoofers include Digital Designs (last I checked, held the world record at 182.x dB), Sound Solutions Audio, FI Car Audio, and many others. Some of these guys are making pretty cool innovations. If you get time check out the FI BTL NEO, or the Sundown Nightshade. Even smaller innovations such as Digital Designs running 8 gauge directly to the tinsel leads have been pretty beneficial. Of course when people are putting 10,000 watts to the subwoofer, you need options like that. None of the "name brand" companies (Kicker, JL, RF, etc.) make subwoofers that are even in the same class as these guys top end woofers, in terms of SPL. The same could be said for sound quality, there are so many good options out there, it is ridiculous.
This^^. There are some really great companies that make great subs. They do offer some subs that are good for sq (very linear) You just have to know where to dig to find it. I have nothing against JL, but find they are overpriced for what you could get from Sundown, DD, and even DC Audio. I havent heard a DC in person, but people that have them, seem to love them as well. I emailed Rusty a while back and he said that a DC Audio level 2 sub would work in the single FoxBox that is on the site. I almost went that route, but couldn't find a better deal than what I got at that point. Hopefully someone here can take that chance and match the airspace to a sub that's out there and give it a shot and be grateful they saved some money.

Wasn't sure you were going to catch on lol

Shifting gears here... has anyone tried the Tang Bang 6 x 9 as woofers in the rear doors yet? This seems like a possible solution.

Fi subs are awesome. Their build sheet can be intimidating to some but the few that I have listened to are very memorable

In my buddies old Charger we built a large ported box tuned to something stupid... I think 26hz for a Fi BTL powered by a Kicker ZX2500.1. I have yet to see another 12 flex the rear doors so much. That thing was fun lol.

From what i can remember, my friend had to wait a month or two to receive his Fi?? After a few years he replaced it with an idmax12 thinking it would sound better overall, his Fi was back in the car within a few days. That is saying alot cause the idmax12 is really good at everything

They used to be custom built, not sure if they still are, but a few weeks was the normal. Maybe he ordered at a busy time.

I checked out the FI audio SSD NEO10. 7" mounting depth and spec .2-.4 cu ft sealed box and 1750 RMS power handling. I'd love to hear a set and find out how much clearance they need behind them. The frame and magnet set up looks like it may not need much if any.

With .2-.4 cu/ft, there wont be much space anywhere. Im surprised by that space requirement. Good to know tho

The SSDs used to be 500rms want was their entry level. I see that has changed a bit. 3500 RMS in the Ram would be LOUD.

2 of those things in a truck would be silly. That being said I need to see the magnet diameter to see if they will fit my foxbox.

Between 0.2 and 0.4 cu.ft. And only 0.6-1.2 ported. Sealed custom you could fit 3 under the rear seat if crazy enough and run a 6000w RMS mono amp @ 1ohm.

Hell yes! Make sure to give me lots of feedback on that sub. What amp you have running them? I was looking at the rockford T1000 1BDCP. 700 rms x 1

Ok so I have my dual T1D4 10’s in and playing, the JL may have a slightly better sound q but the T1 plays louder, significantly louder, handles power better as well.
