after doing a quick search I cant find any swaybar endlinks for the rear that I can just buy.. my rear sway bar sits at about a 45 degree angle to the frame and if I remember my suspension geometry right a sway par should sit level to the frame? Does anyone make anything or will I have to pick up a set of heims and make a set myself?

TORCH!!!!!!!! kinda kidding and kinda not... if the air tools dont work, heat up the nut only and put the breaker to it... Works every time, it a trick I use alot in the farm shop working on equipment.

Well getting it on a lift will help, crawling under it with the 4" drop trying to get a bar on it isnt fun LOL But didnt waste too much time, knew I had airbag setup coming soon and would need up on the lift anyway.

I find myself doing that to alot, I'll get to it when I do this, or that... strangely I never get to it.... I've been meaning to put it up on the lift to inspect everything since I bought it... still have yet to.

I want to order a set but I should probably remove the old ones and set the sway-bar in place and measure exactly what length I need... I like to know and plan and do things right but doesn't always fit with my high level of impatience!!!

After looking at the Helwig units vs the energy start I like the helwig better, little more expensive but look beefier. I will get a set from summit where I can compare both side by side in person.

I just about did, had the cart all built ready to confirm summit racing order, but then I kept thinking Double check before ordering.

I read alot of stuff on these trucks and still have yet to find anyone with inner fender contact and sits as low as where mine is, looks close but pics still look taller. So I think its a modified drop. I'm pretty sure it will work just ordering them I just have to double check first. Its kinda a OCD thing

The Hellwig 7960 is the 6"-8". This will work best if you have the Hellwig sway bars and you want to be able to set them to the most aggressive setting and still keep it level. That is with a 4" rear drop like McG or BT.

The Hellwig 7961 is the 8"-11". This will work fine with stock sway bar or with a 2"-3" rear drop only.

Stuff like this drives me nuts. it being dirty too also does. When I get a chance and my shop built at my house this summer/winter (I hope) i will clean it up and powdercoat things like the sway bar body color red or gunmetal gray to go with the paint accents I plan on doing. but here it is, hellwig or beltech??

Tell me about it... the joys of buying used and modified... you get to correct all the mistakes. I'll pick up the 6-8", prob order it tonight after I stick a tape to it and measure to be exact. I haven't even looked at the front one yet. I'm afraid to

At least you know it's done right... For the front use Moog's F150 end links # K80337.

Is there anything besides the moog that's better? I know those are better than stock, but based on the pics they still don't look ideal...

****, I can design something if someone wants to make it hahaha

Actually it rides pretty good except the bump steer. I cant wait to get it dialed in right and the shocks changed to the QA-1's also. just gotta put the parts list together and put it in the budget.... gotta get it all done before my little minion is born... cause I have a feeling alot of the vehicle play fund will go to the minion for a bit. maybe. between me and my girl we make more than enough to be comfortable.
Thanks DavidRam on the front info. saves the forum a new thread
