2003 5.9L Gas Tuner

What tuner do you have on the gas 5.9l and how well does it work? Looking into getting a tuner for a little extra power and fuel efficiency. See a lot of different options that all say different things wanted some knowledge from someone that has already put one on the same engine I have and how well it worked and how complicated it was to use.

I have a 2007 with the 5.7 Hemi and a Superchips Flashpaq F5 tuner. Gains with the tune are negligible for fuel economy. There is a very slight increase in power on the performance tune, but don't expect a miracle. Performance and towing tunes are require Supreme gas so there is an added cost there.

I used SCT on my 2001 5.9. Worked really well.
Reminds me, I should get rid of it since the truck is long gone lol.

Tune on the 5.9 helps a good bit actually.

The tuner for your specific application is the SCT DCX 3200 X3 and can purchased from several retail outlets including @hemifever for $399

Diablosport i3 #8345 is one as well but no custom tuning
