I've got a 2012 1500 sport 75,000km/47,000mi on it and I'm getting a hollow sounding clunk or rattle coming out of my front end, and it seems to only be on the driver side. I've got a 2.5" level with 35x12.50x20 nittos on it. Anyone with similar issues, or help me pin point what it may be before going to the shop and they tell me my whole front end is blown out...

Thanks again folks.

I should also add its most noticeable at lower speeds on smaller bumps, washboard on gravel, etc.

Sounds like a rattle I had a while back.

I wish it was as easy and cheap as the hood mount/stopper... I had a similar issue on my 300c prior to this truck but cant remember what the fix was. my guess is TRE's, ball joints, or the sway bar. Safe to say between the electrical problems and sh#&ty front ends this is gonna be my last Ram/Chrysler vehicle for a while. :flame:

Do you have a 2wd or 4wd? If a 2wd, it could be the top coil bucket contacting the upper control arm.

It's a 4wd, I'm gonna take my wheel off tomorrow and go over every nut and bolt. If nothing stands out I'll be taking it to the shop to see what they figure. I've got all the tools to practically redo the front end, just hate to buy a bunch of parts and not need them.

Any update? I have had the same issue since I had Rough Country Lift/Level installed on my '12 1500 4x4......Going back to shop for 3rd time. We cannot locate the culprit.

If I get under the truck and push up on the sway bar I can faintly hear the noise....

I've got the same sound on my 2013 1500 with a 2" leveling kit. Any luck sorting it out?

I had it on my 2012 on the driver side after leveling it. Turned out to be the sway bar was slightly out of center and loose. The upper strut bolts were loose too but I don't think that caused the rattle.
