2013 odd electric motor sound with ignition off

I have been waiting for about half hour in my truck with the ignition off, and I periodically hear an electric motor kick in for a few seconds. Any ideas?

Ya I hear it all the time. I agree that it is in fact the flex capacitor. Now if only my truck would run off of garbage.

It comes the radio area.

From what I understand the noise coming from the outside is the clutch fan (?) and the inside noise is the a/c adjusting to the feet position.

When I start my 2013 I can hear the active grille shutters opening or closing.

I think it's a noise coming from the radio itself, or the media hub inside the console.

Mine does this too, sounds like from the cd player under the lower seat.

It actually comes from behind the glove box if you take the glove box out and look at the area where the cabin air filter should be you will see a little hood that comes down with an electric motor to route the air to the vents. I seen this in mine when i put the air filter in my 2012 express last year and turned the key on and cycled the vent switches to test for air leaks.
