Are the tips on the 14' attached with clamps or welded? When I took a look there's a clamp about 7-8 inches in from the tip that doesn't look like it would be for anything else.

Wanna powder coat them black. Black Express with chrome tips, lug nuts and center caps.....why?

Side note. Powder coat the lugs too or just buy black ones? And how do you remove the stock center caps from the wheel?

Tips are clamped on.
I would just buy lugs.
Center caps can be popped out after the wheel is removed.

Thanks! Are the centre caps metal or some kind of plastic you think? I couldn't tell with the scientifically tap it with your fingernail test.

Thanks guys. Might have to splurge on some billet ones. Or maybe experiment with painting them myself.

Much better! That's the way I think they should have been done from the get go. I found a local powder coater so I'm gonna give him a call to see what he'll charge.

I bought tips from a local muffler shop and had them installed. They're 18" long and give a much better sound than the stock ones. And the shop welded them on for me for just the cost of the tips. I believe they were 60 a piece.

As for the lugs and center cap, get a can of black rustoleum or bedliner. See what you think of that first before splurging on new ones. Also, see what you think of the paint on the lugs before the center cap. That way if you don't like the look you won't ruin the center cap with the same paint.
