After much debate on what I should do to level my 2wd I finally decided to go with the Daystar 1.5" spacer kit. I went ahead and replaced the upper control arms with the Mevotech arms that have been discussed on this forum. Even though the Daystar rep assured me I wouldn't have any issues with only the 1.5" level I didn't want to take any chances.

Overall I'm very happy with the result. I got a full 2" out of the kit which is what a rep from another vendor told me I should expect. I started 2.5" taller in the rear so this cuts it to only .5" of rake. I've put about 50 miles on it with no settling, which he also said I shouldn't expect any. The ride is a bit more firm, but not in a bad way. The ride was probably a little soft to begin with so it was a good change.

I paid $35 for the spacer kit, $100 for the arms and $270 for the install/alignment. So $405 total job.

A better one. Truck is a little cleaner and the ground a little more level.

Looks nice man! I always worry that the stock tires would look small with the level but they look good on yours.

Interested to hear how those arms hold up.

Looks great. I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Wasn't thinking about getting the control arms, but someone mentioned shock extenders. I emailed a daystar rep who also assured me that that wouldn't be necessary. What size tires do you have? I'm trying to get an idea of what I want. I'm looking to add nitto's 33/12.5/20.

Don't get shock extensions or longer shocks on a 2wd. The shock is the only thing keeping the UCAs from smacking the coil bucket at full droop.

Myoung I called Mevotech to get some clarification on the part numbers. The ones I ended up using, 057 and 058, actually aren't specified as being 2 or 4wd. The rep told me they would work for either and are the new forged arms.

The tires are the stock 275/60/20 Wranglers. Even when it's time for new tires I'll probably stick with this same size with a more aggressive tread.

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

keep us updated on how those UCA hold up. Ill be doing this with bilsteins and a 1.25 BL on top of so the longevity of these are very interesting to me.
