2016 Ram 1500
I was driving down road when stering wheel started jerking to the right and i herd a grinding thudding sound from the front end. Pulled over didnt see anything obvious so started it up and it drove fine after that. What could be some issues help please

Jack it up look for loose lug nuts ball joints tie rods hub bearings ect other possible causes are cv joints and sticking brake caliper .

Throw it on a lift and check.

Jack up the tire and put hands in the 12:00 and 6:00 position and vigorously wiggle up/down (in/out) for any wheel bearing play...as mentioned bove. Also rotate to check for a brake dragging.

There's also a CV bearing on that side (if 4x4) ..that 'could' be looked at. But that's probably not it.
