My 2011 5.7 does
12L/100km doing long distance on flat country highway
17L/100km driving to work and in town with not a lot of traffic and a few stops
20L/100km in the horrible stop and go traffic jam in the capital city San Jose
I have 305/55/R30 Toyo OpenCountry AT and they are probably one of the culprits,
the 5 speed tranny without overdrive is also not very helpful to save gas.

I've had my '17 for a couple months and I've been ave 16.5 to 17.3, depending if the snow needs me to engage the 4x4 system. I do no highway, so I figure it might be why my ave is where it is.

BTW - I thought all 1500's for '17 had 8 speed trans, knob shifted, with the hemi?

My mileage is horrible also. 2017 1500 crew cab with 3.92 gears, 10 6 in town (not city stop and go) 14.4 highway, What below 17-21 I was getting with my Chevy. Dealer said I should get 16-20 when I bought it now they say it's normal. Because of the mileage my idle time is less then the Chevy about 5 min in morning, 1 min after work.

With these cold temps I am around 20L/100km city driving.

Highway varies a lot for me, going into a wind I get **** mileage 15-17L/100KM at 125kph. No wind, I’ll see around 11-12L/100KM.

Yep, same here. '17 with 3/92 rear end getting 11 to and from work. It's a 10 minute drive mostly highway but there's a little idling time with how butt cold it's been lately. Not happy with it. I was hoping at least 15-16. My diesel get far better mileage. I was hoping the gasser with all this new fangled techno crap would be better on fuel than they used to be. Diesel hands down better but that's to be expected. The gasser does at least warm up though...

11mph ? I would be alittle pissed about that..lol

I average 17mpg with mine but it does have 3:21s. I can get 20mpg on the hwy easy enough.
I came out of a 07 Cummins and basicly get the same mileage.

2300 km is less than 1500 miles. I would expect the mileage to improve once the motor is fully broken in.

He really should have bought a truck with the 8 speed trans. I also didn't know they still had the 6 speed in the 1500's.

Last time I checked the computer was around 18 mpg mixed driving.

Good grief !!

MY 2012 with the 6 spd and 3.92 gears get better than you guy with the new 8 spds....at least the ones posting in here.

This time of year, I take full advantage of the remote start, and even doing so, I still get 12-12.5 mpg city stop & go, and on the highway, I'm back up to 19 or so (20+ in the summer).

I'd be kinda pissed too at the numbers some of yall are getting....maybe I DON'T want a new one yet.....................mine just rolled over 23,000 miles wednesday on the way to work, so I got a long time to decide.

BTW, my EVIC has always been 1-1 1/2 mpg high.....so I hand calc'd my mpg and compared it, so I know essentially what I am really getting based on the EVIC's fibbing.
