What zip code would the body lift be shipped to? With that information we can provide you with a delivered price quote.

The least expensive method usually ends up being the US Postal Service. Shipping with the USPS instead of UPS / FedEx will save a considerable chunk of money on brokerage fees. If Canada Post delivers mail to the above address the cost to ship a kit to K7G 2V6 is $95.25 USD. That is the actual USPS rate based on a shipment weight of 44lbs to the above listed postal code.

UPS and FedEx offer a lower standard shipping rate but they do charge a customs brokerage fee that in most cases costs more than USPS.

Simon, I Ordered from Jeff in the past and with USPS Option it is great. Sometimes though if Item is expensive enough Canada Post Charges a $15 Customs Handling fee, but that only happened once to me on a Big Box (E-Fan from Bob). Usually its thru Customs Fast. Also you Can Track your USPS Tracking Number through Canada Post as well. I plan on gettin an RCD 6" Lift Kit when I have saved enough! LOL. You may want to consider Gap Guards at one point as well for the rear anyways Good Choice...as that will keep you Higher from that Road Slush in the Winter Man.

thanks guys

al so i have a man shift 4x4 lever will this be affected?

I just put a PA body lift on my truck last weekend and I also have a manual 4X4 lever. All you do is reach up under it with a 13mm socket in hand. Loosen the bolt, and disconnect it. Once the body is lifted, go back up there and reconnect it. I had to do some slight adjusting to allow all full engagement of all the gears, but it was very very simple. Also, if you're wondering (I was before I put the kit on), the lever itself doesn't drop or anything like that from inside the truck. It'll stay right where its at and at the same height.

The 2002 model year Ram 1500's have their own unique body lift kit part number. This is because the 318/360 to 4.7/5.7L changeover that was occuring. The 2002 Body Lifts and the 2003-2005 body lifts saw some refinement. For model years 2003 through 2005 the same body lift can be used on the Ram. Those instructions I posted were created before 2005 and that's why it shows 2003-2004. The model year description is outdated but the instructions are correct for a 2005 model year Ram 1500.

Jeff If i buy the same kit as Marx, and wanna add the Gap Guards does this take us out of the USPS method because of the ackward size. what i am looking at is the PA Kit for my 03 with the Gap Guards, shipped to Alberta T0J2NO. Maybe order the Kit first, then Gap Guards second or should we combine it. Not bothered about paying some Duty if thats the route.
Thanks.

There is no way to ship Gap Guards in any USPS Flat Rate boxes. The Urethane material is very bulky and cannot be folded flat... it'll tear at the folds if you get too aggressive with it. Unfortunately the size of the box that the Gap Guards ship in usually means the shipping costs as much or more to Canada than the product itself.

Shipping UPS or FedEx is possible but both of these companies charge a "Broker Fee" to clear the shipments through customs into Canada. The USPS does not. The PA body lift kits are built in the USA (Arizona to be precise) and ship duty free (NAFTA). You will however have to pay tax on the value of the item(s) you import. The penalty is too great to send these as "gifts" and any shipment to Canada that we ship from our warehouse will have the full purchase price listed on all import related documents.

No Probs Jeff, was kinda dumb question (i mean the Gap Guards). The PA sounds good. Perhaps the mopar full fender guards that are available will hide the 3 inches. Will research a bit more and look at some Trucks that have it.

We had a good email string going last year and i am still leaning towards either the RCD or Rancho lift Kit we discussed. Thanks again for your response. I will contact you guys through the website when the time is near!
