3rd gen bumper compatability

hi everyone, im new to discussion forums. unsure of how this works. so my question is, what factory bumpers are compatible with my 08 1500, e.g. is a 2003 bumper compatible to mine? Just the steel part, i know the plastic under the grille and headlights are different. most catalogs list bumpers 06-08, but i found an 03 bumper for a good price

Wrong section to post this in. I do know 06 through 08 have a different front end than the earlier models so i doubt it would work

The front bumpers are definitely different.

However a quick look at RockAuto and the LMC truck catalogue shows the rear bumper part number lists a fit from 2002 to 2009 so the '03 bumper should fit perfectly on your '08.

4th gen bumpers can work to with some fab on the brackets
