Thank you mate, I have seen pics of them finished, just need to get something with a little backbone to it. It's not like you can drill into the fender lip to mount them...so need something that semi-retains shape

Moved the LED relay trigger wire from direct on the battery, to a $1 jumper connector on the cigarette lighter fuse. The rocker switch is only illuminated when the key is on now. I drilled a tiny hole in the fuse box lid and ran it in there.

probably wasn't necessary, but makes me sleep a little better knowing if i left it for a month the battery wouldn't slowly drain.

Also checked my IAT, and its identical to the ambient air temp, and only raises maybe 5 degrees after an hour driving. I'd say my home-made ram air hood is working just fine!

I recommend this little bugger to anyone, super cool for checking parameters via bluetooth.

If i had it to do over, i wouldn't change much.

Maybe bought the more-adjustable pod mounts...taken less off the factory frame rails when i cut the pads off... bout it!
