Confusing because when you google fiberwerx with dodges you see the factory bumper and everything on with no difference I can see. Also even seen a YouTube video of a ram with it on and everything looked fine. Unless the fab work is where the eye doesn't see?

You tell me....

That's kind of what I was thinking. Call them up and email them those pictures.

Already called/emailed pics. I got a pretty brief response, and i'm awaiting to see where it goes from here. I wasn't even going to post these pics, as its not my intentions to bash the company or anything. If they handle this the right way, i'll gladly post how great their service is and go from there.

Its completely true that there are plenty of pics online with these panels installed on trucks looking gorgeous...so not sure what happened to these.

I told the guy...these are marketed as basically OEM type fitment..with the usual trimming and prep, and you actually state "designed to work with oem tailgate" Having to basically "Skin" the panels of all flanges, and glue them on and brace them with rods is not "oem type fitment"

The wheel wells i get, that inner well just needs cut off flush.

The rear bumper, taillight, tailgate, and front bulkhead issues...thats a poor mold, and is going to cost probably $1000+ in hourly labor to correct.

Well just spoke to fiberwerx. They fully admit that these don't look correct, and must be the old mold, and i was shipped a set from the rafters, instead of a "new mold" set. Since I couldn't wait on a new set to be made, then treated me really well with a refund on the bedsides.

They were very friendly, and quick to make this right. Yay fiberwerx!

well getting your money back from the bed sides that should def help offset some of the money needed to make em fit right

Just found a 4th Gen tailgate for $100. They are about a half inch narrower than the third gen. So should help fitment.
kind of been a good day!

uh what? they are supposed to be the same size, at least i thought, great now when i get home ill measure both of my trucks and compare

From what i understand, the mounting is 100% interchangeable, but the outer skin measures 3/8- 1/2 inch narrower...so you figure on a 3rd gen, thats only 1/4 inch on both sides if centered. in my case, I need that 1/4 inch for the bedsides to fit better.

Let me know if you find otherwise. I know they interchange, but i did only read about the slight width difference.

Looks like a pretty normal gap to me man, that doesnt look like an extra 1/4" to me, an extra 1/4" would be a gaping hole

Hard to tell in a picture. A tape measure would probably clear it up.
Of the pics above, the black one is the only one with a 4th gen tailgate mounted on a third gen..correct? those gaps look bigger to my untrained eye's.

kinda irrelevant to me at this point, as i'm getting the tailgate anyways.lol
