Everyone around town tells me my truck looks B@D@$$ too and I didn't break the bank lol ... amazes me the stuff some people's jealousy makes their mouths spit up lol ...
I’m so confused at the negativity here. What is wrong making YOUR vehicle into something YOU want?

Why??? Why spend thousands to make your truck look “badass”?? and impress who? Laugh my ass off seeing someone drive by with a parking lot princess that they throw their back out climbing into. Truth be told DOT is coming down on these types of “mods”. It creates a stability issue for the vehicle and a huge safety issue for the person you run into or who runs into you. You want a taller truck buy a 2500 or bigger, instead of making your 1500 into something it is not. In addition the drive train is not designed to withstand the added load due to the bigger tires. 1500’s are NOT heavy duty anything. They are glorified grocery getters and soccer mom vehicles.

Does it matter where I live in Maine if I go a 12.5 on 35? Doesn’t a tire that is less wide cut into the snow better?

You’re exactly right ... I run 12.50’s in the summer, and 275’s in the Winter .... Just for that reason .... In deep snow, 12.50’s just plow

I feel I still mix up the aspect ratios and such for tires so is 35s a 295 or close.

I may sound stupid but what’s the point in swapping to wider in summer what do you gain. I’m just lost in general how to lift this and what tires to throw on the stock rims for now. Think 4 is fine but between bolt on lifts and spacers versus doing it with brackets and what company is best I’m lost on where to go.

Yea, 305 is closer than 295. I would go Toyo or Nitto if you're trying to do aspect ratio instead of 35x12.5.

If you're trying to go 4", I would go with zone, upgrade to the Fox shocks or just stay factory if you're going to try saving money.

Any reasoning behind that? I still havent decided what to do I know a four inch lift with 35s will look good just don’t know if I should level and call it a day bro did that and only went to 285s.

You’ll be happy with level for about 9 months .... Then you’ll want more .... I started Bils at 2.1” with 285/60R205c89dce1ce2c117d650314bedaa1b536.jpg

When the 285’s were close to wearing out, I was bored .... I used the Bils at 1.4” with the Zone 4”F/3”R lift and went to 35’s .... I’ve been happy ever since ... Well mostly happy .... I went with a 9” rim with 0 offset .... Shoulda gone 10” with -12 or -18 for a better stancebae7e1faabd873039ba26f51542a9bb9.jpg

I went for a level as well with 285's, and now going with a zone lift and much bigger tires. At first, seemed great and I thought I would be happy... I was wrong.

Which part are you asking about though? The tires or the suspension for the lift?

Nice lift! Did you use the front spacers that came with the kit or just use your Bilsteins and set it at 1.4? Looking to do the same.
