just too add to this....you don't need a negative offset to fit 33x12.5x20. You can get a 20x9 wheel with zero offset and it will fit

guys please excuse my ignorance as i am new to all this. from what im understanding i can fit the 33x12.5r20 on my stock wheels with just a 1/4" spacer? my truck has a 1.75" leveling kit. im on a budget and the best deal i can find is falken wildpeaks at sears for about $980. also where would be a good place to buy the spacers from?

I'm running 33/12.50r22 on replica SRT rims with a +25 offset. I was rubbing the upper control arm. I used a 1/2 spacer and I'm not rubbing anymore.

You can fit 35s with just a level with no problem. The only thing is the width you have to watch out for. Pretty much any tire you go with will have some minimal rubbing on the sway bar. As long as it's just at full lock you'll have nothing to worry about.

On stock rims, you can run a 295/65-20 (35.5x12.2x20) which is what I ran for about 3 months with just a 2" level. I ran that tire on stock sport 20s. In order to run a 12.5" tire with just a level you will need about a 1/4" spacer.

If you want a slightly smaller tire, look into the 295/60-20 (34.5x12.2x20). Same tire as I'm running, but 1" shorter.

What is your current setup in your sig?? That look is wicked and is EXACTLY what i'm after.

You are correct! You will rub slightly on FULL lock (turning the wheel)

Rough Country has .25" spacers.

Perfect option as well

I'm running 33/12.50r22 on replica SRT rims with a +25 offset. I was rubbing the upper control arm. I used a 1/2 spacer and I'm not rubbing anymore.

This would be ideal for the above.
3/8" is also an option

1/2" for SIhemi as he is running +25 offset when stock is +19. So he brought his wheels closer to the A Arm

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I have a similar question..don't want to start a thread.

I found almost new 2014 sport wheels with 33's, and I have factory 30's.

Will I need to recalibrate the speedometer after throwing the 33's on?

You sure you have 30's?

Any changes in rolling diameter will throw off your speedometer. The greater or smaller the number, the more it's thrown off

What size are your present stock tires?

How goes it? Yes, long time...

Yes, definitely not 33's. You have a tuner, right? From what I recall....if so, you can calibrate your wheels via the tuner
So go on ahead and upgrade :favorites13:

I'm about to go from 33"s to 35"s. What tuner would you suggest I pick up?

Depends on what you want to do...
However, your options are Diablo or Bully Dog.
If you ever plan on doing custom tunes (via Hemifever or WhiteLightning), Diablo is the route you want to take.

Then its a decision between the InTune DCX or T1000
Either options will allow for you to calibrate your overall diameter height

HAHAHA!

Here is possibly one thing you did not know.
Take a tape measure and measure the tire. Do not put the actual tire size in the tuner as it will more than likely be off.
The measurements do go in increments of 0.5" so select the closes one.

I found typically selecting the one below vs the one above would be a better selection.

that makes sense..the tire is never gonna fully sit at 33" with the truck weighing down. cool, thanks for the tip dude!

just wondering

I have the 20 inch option big horn package on my 2013 ram 1500 putting a 2.5 leveling kit in the front 1.5 in the rear my question is will 33x12.5R20's fit? it seems like a inch on both sides or 1.67 difference between the 275/60r20's on the truck. any input would be awesome.

You'll probably need spacers
