6x9 speakers in 2008 quad cab

I want more bass and louder speakers in my truck but I dont want to sacrifice my storage under my back seat. Im hoping I can just fit 4 6x9 speakers in the doors, but im new to doing audio upgrades and am curious if anyone has better ideas or and recommendations on what speakers I should go with. I understand ill probably have to do some cutting and fabricating but any help would be much appreciated!

i dont know how different your truck is from mine based on year, but i installed 4 jbl gto 6x9s in my front and rear doors with no problem at all. i also read somewhere that alpine(i think) makes a easy upgrade speaker of that size as well. problem im having is they are underpowered from my head unit and i am adding an amp soon. good luck
