I recently purchased (2 days ago) a 1998 2500 12v. The fuel gauge works intermittently. It has the mechanical pump on the engine, I would assume that it has just a sending unit in the tank? If so or not, what is it that I am needing to replace to make my fuel gauge read properly? TIA
